"The tight end previously tore the ACL in college during the 2023 season at Iowa, creating complications with the latest injury that will require two surgeries to correct. "Mattison signed with the Dolphins after failing to lock down lead back duties in Minnesota in 2023 and Las Vegas last season. Mattison had a few solid outings in 2024 (four games with 15-plus fantasy points), but he was limited to a situational role most of the year, only clearing 11 touches five times. Mattison's yards per carry plummeted to an ugly 3.2 last season and, while he's capable as a rusher and receiver (30-plus catches two season in arow), he's yet to show he's anything more than a competent backup. The 27-year-old will battle second-year Jaylen Wright for change-of-pace duties behind De'Von Achane. He's not a fantasy option."
