"McConkey is entering his second NFL season following an impressive rookie campaign in which he ranked in the top 20 among receivers in receptions, yards, TDs, catch rate, yards per target and yards per route run. Following a bit of an inconsistent start, McConkey heated up down the stretch and ended up 12th in fantasy points (18th in PPG). Including the playoffs, the 2024 second-round pick caught five or more passes in eight straight games to end the season. The 23-year-old has already emerged as Justin Herbert's top target and his short-to-intermediate role puts a 100-plus catch season in play in 2025. He's a safe WR2 with upside for even more."

"McConkey made quite the splash in his postseason debut, setting a new career high in receiving yards (197) while tying his previous high-water mark in receptions (nine). The 23-year-old rookie's box score result was the only one worth mentioning for a Chargers squad that netted just 261 yards of offense against the Texans. "Tipton saw action right away as a rookie and seemed to be growing into a larger role by the midway point of the year. The undrafted wideout peaked when he caught six of nine targets while playing 82 percent of snaps Week 7. But, his production quickly faded with only two catches over the next three games, and he was ruled a healthy scratch for six of the final seven contests. This was somewhat surprising, as top wideouts Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee) were sidelined for the final nine and 11 games of the regular season, respectively. The Saints instead relied upon its tight ends and a patchwork group of journeymen wideouts, including Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Kevin Austin, Cedrick Wilson and Dante Pettis. Tipton will likely compete for a reserve role heading into the 2025 season."

"Johnson is entering his third NFL season having racked up 186 touches in 29 games during his first two seasons. The 2023 fourth-round pick impressed, especially as a receiver, in a limited rookie-season role (115 touches), but with D'Andre Swift brought in as lead back in 2024, Johnson dripped to 71 touches. That wasn't enough to allow consistent fantasy value, but he was busy near the goal line, matching Swift's six TDs and eight carries inside the 5 yard line. The 25-year-old enters 2025 well positioned as Swift's primary backup, with special teamer Travis Homer as his primary competition. Johnson has some late-round insurance appeal."

"Johnson was once again a clear second fiddle to lead back D'Andre Swift, who logged 20 carries. The second-year pro had a relatively uneventful season despite the trade of Khalil Herbert to the Bengals, with the exception of a solid red-zone role that helped him score six rushing touchdowns.
