"Thielen returns for his age-35 season, continuing to defy the odds and play productive football. Granted, he missed seven games in 2024, but Thielen remained Bryce Young's top target and posted his fourth top-25 fantasy campaign (PPG) in his past five seasons. He played his best ball late in the season, averaging 7.7 targets per game and producing at least 15 fantasy points in four of his final six outings. Thielen doesn't have a high ceiling and is likely to play a lesser role with first-round pick Tetairoa McMillan in the mix, but he's still a reliable target (he's finished third in catch rate two seasons in a row). That's enough to keep him in the flex discussion in deep leagues."

"Thielen said in early February that he wants to play for at least one more season, and he'll be able to do that as he returns for a third campaign in Carolina on a revised contract. The veteran wideout's 48 catches and 615 yards last season were his fewest since 2019, but he played in only 10 games due to a hamstring injury and still managed to catch five touchdowns. Despite the missed time, Thielen led Carolina in both receiving yards and receiving touchdowns last season, and he'll likely continue to be a top target for up-and-coming quarterback Bryce Young in 2025."

"Austin was second among Pittsburgh's wide receivers in targets, catches and yards last season, but he didn't get much playing time in formations with fewer than three wide receivers, and his average of 3.4 targets per game was far below what's needed for fantasy relevance in most leagues. It could be a similar situation this year, only with DK Metcalf replacing Pickens as the clear No. 1 and Robert Woods replacing Van Jefferson as the veteran who is valued for blocking and experience more so than drawing targets. Austin is in a better position than he would've been had the Steelers kept both Metcalf and Pickens, but huge snap counts remain unlikely for one of the NFL's smallest players (Austin is listed at 5-foot-9, 162 pounds)."

"Houston placed Stover on injured reserve earlier Tuesday but didn't make a corresponding addition to the active roster, though Teagan Quitoriano (calf) could be reinstated from IR later this week to give the Texans a third option at tight end behind Dalton Schultz and Irv Smith for Saturday's divisional-round game against the Chiefs. Stover recorded four catches for 28 yards on four targets in the win over the Chargers and finished the regular season with a 15-133-1 receiving line on 22 targets over 15 appearances."
