"Hubbard signed a contract extension with Carolina last season, which locked him in as the team's lead back for the near future. The 2021 fourth-round pick has amassed 275-plus touches in each of the past two seasons and, despite missing two games in 2024, he finished in the top 15 among RBs in carries, targets, touches, yards, touchdowns and fantasy points. He ran well (4.8 YPC) and was busy near the goal line (he ranked fifth with 17 carries inside the 5-yard line), but he struggled as a receiver (RB-worst 3.2 YPT). With Jonathon Brooks (ACL) out for the entire 2025 season, Rico Dowdle and rookie Trevor Etienne are Hubbard's primary competition for touches. The 26-year-old makes for a solid RB2 target."

"Hubbard and Dowdle both were lead backs last year, but there doesn't seem to be any doubt about whose show it will be in 2025, considering the former signed a four-year, $33.2 million extension. Dowdle settled for a one-year deal with a reported base value of $3 million, which suggests NFL teams view him as a backup-caliber player even after he ran for 1,079 yards in Dallas last year. Hubbard is the better pure runner, and generally a superior player, but it is possible he cedes more of the backfield work in 2025 (compared to last season) if Carolina's coaches like Dowdle more than they liked Sanders. There's no indication Hubbard's calf and knee injuries from the end of 2024 will be a problem for the upcoming season, whereas 2024 second-round pick Jonathon Brooks figures to miss significant time after tearing his right ACL for the second time in two years."

"Lamb is entering his sixth NFL season eyeing a bounce-back after missing two games and finding the end zone only six times in 2024. For many receivers, 101 catches and an eighth-place finish in fantasy points would be a career year, but it was a step back for Lamb after he led all receivers in yards, touchdowns and fantasy points in 2023. Despite Dak Prescott missing more than half the season, Lamb managed his third straight top-8 fantasy campaign and only two receivers accrued more touches. In his prime at age 26, Lamb remains one of the league's best receivers and he will get Prescott back this season. He's a solid WR1 option with elite upside who may come at a slight discount on draft day."

"Lamb is working his way back from an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder, which caused him to miss the final two games of the 2024 campaign, but he should be fully recovered by the time Dallas' offseason activities begin. The Pro Bowl wideout posted a 101-1,194-6 line on 152 targets across 15 regular-season appearances last season, despite being paired with quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring) for only eight of those contests. Getting Lamb and Prescott back at full health will provide reason for optimism with the Cowboys' passing game under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer, whose scheme promises an uptick in play action and improvements in the running game."
