"Andrews is a tricky evaluation after an odd career turn in 2024 in which he was fortunate to finish eighth in fantasy PPG after posting top-5 finishes the prior five seasons. After handling a target share in the 22-to-28% range during 2019-23 (all were top 4 at the position), Andrews dipped to 15% in 2024 (20th) and finished 20th in targets, 14th in catches, ninth in yards and first in TDs among tight ends. Andrews has always been extremely efficient when targeted (he's never finished lower than fifth in YPRR), but he's also never been quite as TD dependent (11 TDs in 2024 were a career high and his 16.2% TD rate was way above his prior career rate of 7.1%). Andrews was bailed out by the TD outlier and will need to bounce back in the target area in order to return to elite TE1 production."

"DeCosta also called Andrews a "warrior" and said he's "a great player... and we're in the business of keeping as many great players as we can." It's not quite the endorsement coach John Harbaugh gave earlier this offseason, which may signal a willingness to listen to trade offers. The Ravens kept Andrews on the roster through mid-March when a $4 million roster bonus kicked in, ending any speculation that he might be released after losing a fumble and dropping a game-tying pass in a playoff loss at Buffalo in January. Other factors working against Andrews include his contract (one year remaining), age (30 in September) and the presence of fellow tight end Isaiah Likely, but most signs point to Andrews playing at least one more season for the Ravens. That said, it won't be surprising if he's part of a draft-day trade."

"Though Vaki excelled at both safety and running during his time in college at Utah, the Lions drafted him in the fourth round of April's draft with the intention of making him a full-time running back. He saw limited action on offense as a rookie while Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery took on the bulk of the snaps out of the backfield, but Vaki's established himself as a core member of Detroit's special-teams units. In addition to returning two kickoffs for 55 yards, Vaki recorded eight tackles over his 310 special-teams snaps. "Estime and fellow incumbent Jaleel McLaughlin opened OTAs taking the majority of first-team running back reps, but courtesy of his second-round draft capital, it shouldn't take long for rookie RJ Harvey to climb the depth chart. A 2024 fifth-round pick, Estime racked up 76 carries for 310 yards and two touchdowns across 14 regular-season games as a rookie, while securing all five of his targets for 27 yards and fumbling twice (one lost). He was also a healthy scratch for the team's wild-card round playoff loss to the Bills. Harvey's addition to the backfield figures to more than account for the touches vacated by Javonte Williams' departure for Dallas in free agency, but Payton appears to still envision a clear role for Estime, even acknowledging that his bruising rushing style requires ample opportunities to wear down opposing defenses. At 5-foot-11, 227-pounds, Estime could operate as a 'thunder' complement to the 5-foot-8, 205-pound Harvey's 'lightning,' though the latter tailback demonstrated an ability to withstand a workhorse role during his time at UCF."

"The report notes that Turpin will become the "highest-paid special teams player in NFL history", although part of the motivation for re-signing him is that he's also a significant contributor on offense. He caught 31 of 52 targets for 420 yards and two TDs last season, adding 16 carries for 92 yards, 18 punt returns for 187 yards (with one TD) and 27 kick returns for 904 yards (and another TD). Turpin is a late bloomer who went undrafted back in 2019 and didn't make a regular-season appearance until 2022, which explains why he'll be 29 years old at the start of his fourth NFL campaign come September. He'll presumably land somewhere between third and fifth on the depth chart at wide receiver, in addition to returning both punts and kickoffs."
