"Hodgins continued to see plenty of time on the field, with his 52 offensive snaps ranking second among New York wideouts behind Darius Slayton's 56 and ahead of Wan'Dale Robinson's 48. As usual, however, Robinson dominated looks from QB Jaxson Dart with an 11-113-0 receiving line on 14 targets, while no other pass catcher on the team had more than four targets. Hodgins seems to be the preferred choice for the Giants' No. 3 wideout role, but that hasn't led to much production of late, as he's logged a total of just three catches on five targets for 16 yards across his past four contests. It remains to be seen how interim head coach Mike Kafka will approach Week 18 versus the Cowboys given that New York is probably better off taking a loss to avoid slipping down the order for next year's NFL Draft, but regardless, Hodgins doesn't have any tangible fantasy floor for managers who still have a reason to set their lineups next week."

"It was the second straight week without a catch for Allen, who watched Tyler Higbee return from an ankle injury and post five catches for 91 yards and a touchdown, while Colby Parkinson pitched in with four catches for 36 yards and two touchdowns of his own. Allen and rookie Terrance Ferguson (hamstring) are firmly in the second tier of the Rams tight-end corps heading into the postseason, but Allen's performance in his third year in the league was a fair step up from his first two despite a disappointing final two performances. A 24-208-3 receiving line this year was well ahead of his combined 16-134-1 line from his first two years in the league, and with Higbee set to be a free agent after the season, Allen's role could increase even further in the final year of his rookie contract. "Etienne enters his first contract year with eyes on a bounce-back following a rough 2024. After clearing 1,400 yards in both 2022 and 2023 (finishing third among RBs in touches and fantasy points in the latter), Etienne plummeted to career-low marks in touches, yards and TDs last season. After finding the end zone in Weeks 1 and 2, he went without a TD or a fantasy point total above 14.8 the rest of the season. He's still in his prime at age 26, but Etienne's efficiency has been weak two seasons in a row and he's no longer a lock for lead-back duties, with Tank Bigsby ticketed for a big role and fourth-round rookie Bhayshul Tuten now in the mix. Perhaps new coach Liam Coen can get things turned around, but Etienne is best viewed as a bench flier."

"Etienne had a very strong regular season, though Sunday served as a disappointing close. He logged a long rush of 11 yards, but eight of his 14 attempts on the ground picked up two or fewer yards. Etienne was also limited to only one target for just the third time this season and ultimately ended up with limited volume after being pulled early in the fourth quarter. If there was a positive point to note, he was able to surpass 1,100 rushing yards for the first time since 2022, his second season as a pro. Etienne should be in line for a bounce-back effort in the wild-card round, though it is still undetermined who the Jaguars will face."

"Samuel was traded to the Commanders after spending his first six pro seasons with the 49ers. One of the league's most versatile offensive players, Samuel has 50-plus catches and 37-plus carries in each of the past four seasons. The fantasy output has been volatile, however, as he was a top-12 in PPG in 2021 and 2023, but outside the top 25 the other four seasons. Durability has been an issue, as he's yet to play a full regular season. With Terry McLaurin as his only notable target competition, Samuel has a path to similar usage to what he saw in San Francisco.
