"Waddle enters his fifth NFL season after a somewhat inexplicable down year in 2024. Granted, he wasn't fully healthy at times (and missed two games), but Waddle's target share dipped from 20%-plus during his first three seasons to 16% last season (56th among WRs). He posted career-low marks in every key category and ranked 52nd in fantasy PPG after finishing 21st or better in each of his first three seasons. Same as Tyreek Hill, Waddle seemingly suffered from Miami facing two-high safeties at a league-high rate, and with both back for 2025, we may see more of the same. Waddle has the talent to allow a bounce-back campaign (especially with Hill entering his age-31 season), but he can't be trusted as more than a WR3."


"Waddle is coming off his worst season as a pro, having failed to reach the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his NFL career with just a 58-744-2 receiving line (83 targets) across 15 regular-season games in 2024. As he works to bounce back entering his age-27 campaign, it's encouraging to see Waddle impressing early at practice with Tyreek Hill (wrist) sitting out most receiving drills. David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports that Waddle put his speed on display Wednesday and torched Miami's defensive backs multiple times, though it's worth noting that Jalen Ramsey has not been present for voluntary practices. Waddle has fallen down fantasy draft boards significantly following his disappointing 2024 showing, but he could be in solid position to rebound if the Dolphins' offensive line can do a better job of keeping Tua Tagovailoa upright, and if coach Mike McDaniel's offense is able to return to its norm of manufacturing explosive plays in the intermediate and deep areas of the field rather than peppering De'Von Achane and Jonnu Smith with short targets."

"Hunt re-signed with the Chiefs following a successful reunion with the team last season. He stepped in for an injured Isiah Pacheco in Week 4 and went on to average 21.5 touches, 89.0 yards and 14.8 fantasy points over the next eight games. Pacheco returned in Week 13 and then neither were viable fantasy options from that point forward, as they were near even in snaps, carries and targets, with Samaje Perine also in the mix as a passing-down specialist. Hunt was not particularly effective as a rusher or receiver and he's now 30 years old, so it's fair to expect a healthy Pacheco to lead this backfield in 2025. Hunt is only a late-round consideration."


"Hunt joined Kansas City last September in the wake of an early-season IR stint for Isiah Pacheco due to a fractured fibula. He served as the team's starter for a stretch and then split backfield reps with Pacheco once the latter returned to the lineup, up through the Chiefs' loss to Philadelphia in Super Bowl LIX. Hunt concluded the regular season with 200 carries for 728 yards and seven scores across 13 appearances, plus 23 catches for 176 yards through the air (32 targets). A full offseason to get back to 100 percent form may allow Pacheco to reclaim a firm grasp on the lead role of the Chiefs' backfield, which also added speedster Elijah Mitchell in free agency, but Hunt's solid showing in 2024 figures to leave him in position for a solid amount of complementary snaps. The exact pecking order of Kansas City's rushing attack may not gain clarity until training camp and/or the preseason."
