"Engram signed with Denver after spending his first eight NFL seasons with the Giants and Jaguars. The 2017 first-round pick is coming off a bit of a lost season, as injuries cost him seven games and he found the end zone only once when active. Engram was still heavily targeted (his 25% target share ranked third among TEs) and, even with last season's dud, he has finished top 7 in fantasy PPG in five of his eight seasons. Engram isn't much of a touchdown scorer (he hasn't produced more than four in a season since 2017, but he's joining a good Denver offense led by Sean Payton (who helped Jimmy Graham to three consecutive top-2 fantasy seasons) and impressive second-year QB Bo Nix. Engram remains squarely in the back-end TE1 mix and there's upside for even more."

"Engram said Thursday he feels "the potential is through the roof" for second-year quarterback Bo Nix, per DiLalla, and the veteran tight end projects to be a significant part of the young signal-caller's Year 2 development. Now fully recovered from the hamstring and labrum injuries that limited him to nine regular-season appearances with Jacksonville in 2024, Engram is entrenched as Denver's top tight end above Adam Trautman, and he's staring down a seemingly straightforward path to emerging as the No. 2 option in the passing game behind top wideout Courtland Sutton. Marvin Mims, Devaughn Vele and Troy Franklin project as complementary options and are joined by rookie third-rounder Pat Bryant, but Engram is clearly the Broncos' most proficient target outlet for short passes, even if his prime is in the past as he enters his age-31 season. "Williams has reunited with the Chargers after spending the 2024 season with the Jets and Steelers. His one-year absence from Los Angeles didn't go well as, after being limited to a 12-166-0 receiving line in nine games with New York, he was shipped to Pittsburgh and produced a 9-132-1 line in nine games. Williams has never quite lived up to his first-round pedigree, having produced zero top-10 fantasy campaigns and only two better than 39th. The 30-year-old is no longer guaranteed a consistent share of the targets, with Ladd McConkey and perhaps Quentin Johnston and second-round rookie Tre Harris ahead of him on the depth chart. Williams is worth no more than a late flier."

"Williams was selected by the Chargers in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft and spent his first seven professional seasons with the organization, topping out at 76 catches for 1,146 yards and nine touchdowns during a career-best 2021 campaign. The Clemson product moved on to the Jets last offseason but struggled to produce and was traded to the Steelers in early November. Between his stints with the two clubs, Williams tallied a modest 21 catches on 34 targets for 298 yards and one touchdown over 18 games during the regular season. With his return to Los Angeles, Williams will team up with a familiar quarterback in Justin Herbert, and he should have a decent-sized role as the team's No. 2 or No. 3 receiver behind Ladd McConkey."
