"Flacco signed with the Browns and will compete with Kenny Pickett and rookies Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel for the team's starting job. Flacco appeared in five full regular-season games with the Browns in 2023 and seven with the Colts last season. He averaged 16.7 fantasy PPG during those 12 games, which is fairly impressive considering he was a nonfactor with his legs (18-28-0 rushing line). Flacco did his damage through the air, throwing two or more TDs in 10 of the 12 outings. Of course, Flacco is now 40 years old, hasn't appeared in more than nine games in a season since 2017 and is a poor bet to play out the whole season with three young QBs on his heels. Flacco is only worth drafting in superflex."

"After Richardson was benched following the Colts' Week 8 loss to the Texans, Flacco started both of the past two contests. However, he struggled to protect the ball in losses to the Vikings and Bills, as Flacco completed 67.7 percent of his throws for a respectable 7.3 yards per attempt between the two games but tossed four interceptions (one of which was returned for a touchdown) and lost two fumbles. Despite Flacco's struggles, Steichen previously said Monday that the 39-year-old veteran would continue to direct the offense in Week 11, only to change course on that decision two days later. Richardson has had his own issues with both accuracy (44.4 percent completion rate) and turnovers (seven interceptions, two lost fumbles) over his six starts this season, but the 4-6 Colts are hoping that the two-week benching will have the 22-year-old in a better position to succeed as he returns to the lineup this Sunday against the Jets. Meanwhile, Flacco will stay ready in the event Richardson misses time with an injury over the final seven games of 2024 before heading into free agency this offseason."

"Ertz returns to Washington for his 13th NFL season after a very successful debut campaign with the team. One season after being waived by Arizona and failing to find his way to another 53-man roster, Ertz won the Commanders' starting TE gig and ended up in the top 12 at the position in routes, targets, catches, yards, TDs and fantasy points. His 10 end zone targets ranked second at the position. Ertz is now 34 years old and has added competition for targets with Deebo Samuel Sr. in town and Ben Sinnott entering Year 2, so a step back in production is probable, but he'll continue to benefit from playing a role in a Jayden Daniels-led offense. Ertz is best viewed as a low-ceiling TE2."

"Ertz can earn up to $9 million with incentives. Returning to Washington always made the most sense for the 34-year-old tight end after he appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Commanders last season, reeling in 66 of 91 targets for 654 yards and seven touchdowns as one of Jayden Daniels' safety blankets in the middle of the field and red zone. Ertz's seven scores were his most since back-to-back eight-TD seasons in 2017 and 2018 with the Eagles. He also had a productive postseason, securing 18 passes for 155 yards and one touchdown, including an 11-104-0 effort in the NFC Championship Game loss to Philadelphia. Ertz should once again lead Washington's tight end room in 2025."
