"Knight overcame a minor ankle injury in order to serve as the Cardinals' lead back sans Trey Benson (knee) and Emari Demercado (ankle). The 24-year-old Knight struggled with his efficiency yet again, but he managed to reward committed fantasy managers by punching in Arizona's only rushing score of the contest. Backup Michael Carter (5-28-0) finished as the team's leading rusher on half as many carries as Knight received, as the team continues to deploy multiple backs to help replace the early-season loss of James Conner (ankle). It will be important to monitor both Benson's and Demercado's status prior to next Sunday's tilt against Tampa Bay, as the return of either tailback could noticeably eat into Knight's potential workload in Week 13. It is also worth noting that Knight appeared to be tending to a lower leg injury late in Sunday's loss, so he may pop back up on the injury report early in the upcoming practice week."

"Skattebo was selected by the Giants in the fourth round of April's draft. He's one of the oldest RBs in this class (23), but that's not enough to offset his elite efficiency during two seasons at Arizona State. Skattebo's 3.1 forced missed tackle rate last season was best in this class (his career rate ranked second), as was his 15% target share and 11.1 yards per target. He's not super-fast, but he has good size and a three-down skill set, which supplies him with a solid long-term fantasy outlook. Of course, Skattebo is likely to split work with impressive sophomore Tyrone Tracy Jr., so his 2025 upside may be limited. He's a fine midround target."

"Skattebo will cede his spot on the 53-man roster to cornerback Jarrick Bernard-Converse, whom the Giants claimed off waivers from the Browns. After dislocating his right ankle in Sunday's 38-20 loss to the Eagles, Skattebo underwent season-ending surgery hours later, with head coach Brian Daboll relaying that "all went well" with the operation, per Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com. Skattebo has since been discharged from the hospital and is able to begin rehabbing right away, but he's without a specific timeline for a return and may not be back to 100 percent health in advance of the 2026 campaign. The fourth-round pick out of Arizona State had emerged as the Giants' lead back prior to suffering the devastating injury and will finish his rookie season with 410 yards and five touchdowns on 101 carries to go with a 24-207-2 receiving line on 32 targets over eight games. Tyrone Tracy and Devin Singletary are slated to fill the void in the New York backfield for the duration of the season."
