"Irving is a strong 2025 breakout candidate following an impressive rookie season. The fourth-round pick didn't play on over half the snaps in a game until Week 6, but was fantasy's No. 10 RB from that point on. He produced 15-plus fantasy points in nine of his final 12 games, with injury responsible for two duds. Irving's efficiency was elite, as his 5.4 YPC, 2.5 YAC, 90% catch rate and 7.5 RAC were all top 5 among RBs. Irving will defer some work to Rachaad White, and his 192-frame raises obvious durability questions, but he looked the part as a rookie and is well positioned for 15-plus touches per game in a good offense. At worst, he's a fringe RB1."

"Irving once again comfortably outpaced backfield mate Rachaad White, who logged just three total touches (one carry, two receptions). The rookie put together a solid performance that included his seventh tally of over 70 rushing yards in the last nine games. However, Irving was stuffed for a two-yard loss on a third-and-1 play at the Commanders' 12-yard line with 5:32 remaining, forcing the Buccaneers to settle for a field goal instead of extending the drive and possibly scoring a go-ahead touchdown. Irving's productive day came in the wake of a standout rookie season that exceeded expectations, during which he recorded 207 carries for 1,122 yards and eight touchdowns while adding a 47-392 receiving line on 52 targets across 17 games. Irving also turned the ball over just once (two fumbles total) and should head into his second season with a firm grasp on the No. 1 back role."

"The rookie wideout got behind the Buffalo secondary for a 43-yard score on Denver's first possession, but it proved to be the only points the visitors would manage to produce. Franklin came into the NFL with more intrigue than a typical fourth-round pick given that he was reuniting with his college QB, but while Bo Nix thrived in his debut campaign, his top target at Oregon had trouble gaining separation against pro defenders.
