"Benson is entering his second season after playing a minimal role as a rookie. The 2024 third-round pick never truly pushed James Conner for work and instead was limited to 69 touches in 13 games while sharing change-of-pace duties with Emari Demercado. Benson was effective (4.6 YPC, 2.1 YAC), and though it's logical to expect a larger role in his second season, Conner remains the team's lead back after signing an extension in November. Benson won't have standalone value early on, but he's an intriguing insurance target considering Conner is entering his age-30 season having never played a full regular season."


"Benson operated as the unquestioned lead back in the Cardinals' first game without James Conner (IR, foot), but he finished with two fewer carries than in Sunday's Week 3 loss to the 49ers. Benson did record a season high in receptions and outpaced No. 2 back Emari Demercado by six carries, but game script conspired to afford him almost as much pass-catching work as rushing volume. Benson should have a better opportunity to handle a larger workload during a Week 5 home matchup against an ineffective Titans defense on Sunday, Oct. 5."

"Stevenson returns for his fifth season in New England, but his role is not as secure as in years past after the team drafted TreVeyon Henderson in the second round and after fumbling issues (RB-high seven) led to a demotion during the 2024 season. Those issues aside, Stevenson was still fairly busy and effective despite New England's shaky offense last season, as he totaled 969 yards (the second most of his career) and a career-high eight TDs. The 27-year-old figures to benefit from the team's coaching change, as all six of Mike Vrabel's Titans offenses were run-heavy. Stevenson may remain the starter in New England, but there's a good chance he'll play a lesser role as the thunder to Henderson's lightning. Stevenson is a fringe flex option with limited upside."


"Stevenson's efficiency was off the charts in the lopsided victory, with the talented running back recording two- and 35-yard touchdown runs alongside a 15-yard scoring reception in the first half before the game got away from the Dolphins and New England had the luxury of pulling starters. Stevenson wrapped up the regular season with six total touchdowns (four rushing, two receiving) in the last three contests, and Sunday's rushing yardage total was his highest of the season. "Johnson was selected by Tampa Bay in the seventh round of April's draft. He paced this WR class with an 81% catch rate last season at Oregon, though a class-low 5.9 aDOT was a big factor there. He was utilized as a short-range target throughout his collegiate career and ended up with a class-high 3,889 receiving yards in 62 games. His 2.89 YPRR during the span ranked second best in this WR class. Johnson's 4.51 40-yard dash (74 speed score) was a big red flag, as he's the tiniest WR in this class (5-foot-9, 154 pounds). Set to battle for a roster spot while competing in a very deep WR room, he'll look to lock down a role as a depth slot receiver (84% in college) and punt returner."

"Stafford returns for his fifth season in Los Angeles. The 37-year-old continues to play good football (11th in QBR last season), but that hasn't translated to much fantasy success (27th in fantasy PPG last season and his last top-10 season was with Detroit in 2019). Stafford has finished each of the last two seasons just outside the top 10 in attempts, completions, pass yards and pass TDs, while also continuing to offer almost zero with his legs (39.5 rushing yards per season and one total rush TD since joining the Rams). A solid line and elite Puka Nacua/Davante Adams WR duo could help boost Stafford's passing numbers in 2025, but the lack of rushing will limit him to nothing more than a bye-week streamer."


"Stafford bounced back nicely from a three-interception dud in Week 17, but it wasn't all smooth sailing during a sluggish first half against the fledgling Cardinals. The MVP candidate looked the part coming out of halftime when he conducted scoring drives on three consecutive possessions to put the game out of reach. The 37-year-old will finish the 2025 regular season leading the league in both passing yards (4,743) and touchdown passes (48) while earning the Rams the NFC's No. 5 seed heading into the playoffs. Stafford's incredible regular-season accomplishments should make him one of the top DFS options available in the wild-card round when the Rams visit the 8-9 Panthers."
