"Kmet enters 2025 having finished better than 16th in fantasy PPG once in his career, a ninth-place finish in 2023. He finished in the top 10 among TEs in all key categories that season, but plummeted to outside the top 20 in targets, catches, yards and fantasy points in 2024. In what was a bit of a bizarre season, Kmet appeared in all 17 games, paced all tight ends in snaps, finished fifth in routes and led the position with an 84% catch rate, but ended up 27th in fantasy PPG. He had two games with double-digit targets but three with zero. The 26-year-old's fantasy stock took a massive hit in April when Chicago spent its first-round pick on Colston Loveland. No longer positioned for more than the occasional target or two, Kmet is well off the fantasy radar."

"In 2024, Kmet recorded 47 receptions for 474 yards and four touchdowns on 55 targets, marking his least productive season since his rookie year in 2020. After playing 87 percent of the offensive snaps last season, Kmet now faces significant competition following the first-round selection of Loveland, whose arrival could sharply reduce his role. Although Loveland is expected to be an adequate blocker, the Bears likely drafted the former Michigan standout for his ability to create mismatches in the passing game. Unless the situation shifts during training camp, Kmet may go undrafted in the majority of fantasy leagues."

"The Packers acquired Willis from the Titans less than two weeks before the regular season began, and that proved to be a pivotal move, as he led the Packers to victory in both Weeks 2 and 3 while filling in for an injured Jordan Love. The sample size was small, but Willis posted a sterling 124.8 quarterback rating in 2024, which put him back on the map after a nondescript start to his career. Willis has one year remaining on his rookie contract, so barring a trade to a team that may be interested in him as a starter, he will be back in Green Bay for another go-around."

"Jones re-signed with Minnesota after a successful 2024 campaign, in which he appeared in all 17 regular-season games and ranked top 10 among RBs in carries, targets, touches and yards. Jones, who played a career-high 64% of the offensive snaps, was effective as a rusher and receiver but had the league's worst touchdown luck (seven TDs, 12.8 expected), which limited him to a 20th-place finish in fantasy PPG. Scoring regression is a strong bet in 2025, but Jones is now 30 years old, working in a pass-first scheme and will defer work (perhaps substantial work) to newcomer Jordan Mason. Jones should be viewed as a flex option."

"O'Connell specifically mentioned goal-line and short-yardage situations as areas where Mason can help, noting that the Vikings "left a lot to be desired" in those situations last year. Jones returns as the starter after signing a two-year, $20 million contract, but it sounds like he's a long shot to match last season's career highs for snaps (700), rush attempts (255) and touches (306). The only disappointment in 2024 was scoring three times on 24 carries inside the 10-yard line, with just seven total TDs (five rushing) despite playing all 17 games and recording 1,546 yards from scrimmage (his most since 2019) at rates of 4.5 yards per carry and 8.0 per catch. While ceding goal-line carries is never a good thing for fantasy value, Mason's physical presence could help the 30-year-old Jones stay healthy and maintain his strong per-touch yardage production."

"Douglas is entering his third NFL season having paced the Patriots' WR room in targets during each of his first two years with the team. The 2023 sixth-round pick earned a significant offensive role early in his rookie season and took a slight leap forward last season, hitting career-best marks in targets, catches, yardage and TDs. One of the league's smallest receivers at 5-foot-8, 179 pounds, Douglas primarily works as a short-area slot receiver, which has severely limited his yardage, TDs and, of course, fantasy output. The 24-year-old has yet to deliver a top-55 fantasy campaign (PPG) and is a candidate for a lesser role in 2025 with Stefon Diggs and Kyle Williams in the mix on what is likely to be a run-first offense under Mike Vrabel. Douglas has minimal late-round appeal."
