"Smith hooked on with Houston's practice squad last September and ended up getting signed to the team's active roster in December. The veteran tight end played in five total regular-season games and didn't see a target on offense, though he did catch one pass for two yards in the Texans' playoff loss to Kansas City. "Levis is entering his third NFL season, likely to serve as the primary backup to No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward. Levis was the Titans' starter for most of his first two seasons, but simply wasn't up to the task, totaling 21 pass TDs and 16 INTs in 21 games, and he didn't add much with his legs (240 yards and one TD). Last season, he appeared in only 12 games (nine full) and still finished in the top 7 in sacks and INTs. Levis is aggressive (top 5 in average depth of throw both seasons), but the lack of efficiency and rushing contributions keeps him well off the fantasy radar. He'll be worth an add in superflex only if Ward stumbles or misses time."

"The pick was expected for some time beforehand, and the Titans likely would've already moved Levis if they got an offer for something like a mid-round pick. The question now is whether they'll trade him for less than that, creating a fresh start for both parties after back-to-back disastrous seasons for the Tennessee offense since Levis was taken 33rd overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. "Pollard returns for his second season as the Titans' lead back. He was busier than expected in 2024, when he finished eighth among RBs in carries and 10th in targets. He managed to produce his third consecutive season with 1,000-plus rushing yards and 1,300-plus from scrimmage, but didn't get much goal-line work (five carries inside the 5) and was limited to five TDs (one fewer than Tyjae Spears). Pollard reached 19 fantasy points only once (Spears was out that week) and has finished just one season in his career better than 22nd in fantasy PPG (2022 in Dallas). Entering his age-28 season, Pollard is again expected to lead Tennessee's run game, but Spears will be involved, especially in passing situations. Pollard is a low-ceiling flex."

"Callahan said Pollard, who compiled a career-high 1,079 rushing yards plus five scores on 260 carries (4.2 YPC) last season, "was our most productive running back" but acknowledged that he "was battling the second half of the year quite a bit" and struggled to remain fully healthy, as did Spears. "So hopefully that division of labor gets a little more evenly distributed so [Pollard] doesn't have to take the brunt of it," Callahan said while also expressing a desire to work a third back into the mix, which could be either Julius Chestnut or rookie sixth-rounder Kalel Mullings (abdomen). Pollard said the right high-ankle sprain he dealt with late in 2024 is "ready to go" and that "getting more guys involved, keeping guys fresh" would be "ideal." A decrease in overall workload could allow the 28-year-old Pollard to better maintain his efficiency for a full 17-game slate, and even if he doesn't reprise a workhorse role, he's positioned to repeat as Tennessee's top backfield option. With Cam Ward now under center rather than Will Levis, there's also room for the Titans' offense to improve as a whole and provide enough increased scoring opportunities for Pollard's fantasy value as an RB2 to remain safely intact."
