"Wentz played the majority of snaps in Minnesota's last five games with J.J. McCarthy (ankle) working his way back from a multi-week injury, but the veteran was clearly playing through pain during last Thursday's 37-10 loss to the Chargers. Per Dane Mizutani of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the Vikings have officially placed Wentz on IR. The transaction confirms that McCarthy will start Sunday's road matchup against the Lions, if healthy, and leaves Max Brosmer in position to handle No. 2 quarterback duties for Minnesota."

"Ayomanor was selected by the Titans in the fourth round of April's draft. He sports a solid size/speed combo, though he lacks some short-area burst (as shown by his class-worst 1.58 10-yard split at the combine). That didn't slow him from a huge workload at Stanford, as he handled a 32% target share and 47% air yard share (second highest in this class) last season. His efficiency was mostly below average, but there's potential here. Ayomanor will begin his career competing with Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson (among others) for work behind Calvin Ridley. Ayomanor is only worth drafting in deep leagues and dynasty."


"Ayomanor showed early rapport with Cam Ward (shoulder), making a nice catch-and-run for a 39-yard gain on the team's first possession. However, Ward then exited the game, and Brandon Allen struggled to move the Tennessee offense, which led to Ayomanor's inefficient line.
