"Davis is entering his sixth NFL season, but remains a free agent after being released by the Jaguars. Needless to say, his lone year in Jacksonville didn't go as planned, with Davis managing just 4.2 targets per game in 10 outings. He had one big game (a two-TD effort on a season-high eight targets in Week 6), but failed to reached double-digit points in any other game. Davis has yet to finish a season better than 36th in fantasy PPG (one finish better than 51st) and that was despite four seasons in the Bills' high-scoring offense. Regardless of where he lands, the 26-year-old will remain a situational vertical threat and is unlikely to see enough work to allow anything close to weekly flex consideration."

"Davis' 55 percent snap share was second among Buffalo's wide receivers behind Khalil Shakir's 67 percent, while Keon Coleman (coach's decision) was scratched for a second consecutive game. Davis is slated to revert back to the Bills' practice squad, but given his prominent role Thursday, it wouldn't be surprising to see him get another chance to play in Week 13 at Pittsburgh. He can be elevated from the practice squad a third time, having already been elevated twice, but the Bills would have to add Davis to the active roster after that for him to keep playing."
