The kick and punt returner will play in his first game since he suffered his ankle injury in the Chargers' Week 14 win over the Eagles. The 25-year-old is set to reclaim primary kickoff return duties from rookie KeAndre Lambert-Smith. He is also set to replace Ladd McConkey as the primary punt returner for the team."

"Etienne enters his first contract year with eyes on a bounce-back following a rough 2024. After clearing 1,400 yards in both 2022 and 2023 (finishing third among RBs in touches and fantasy points in the latter), Etienne plummeted to career-low marks in touches, yards and TDs last season. After finding the end zone in Weeks 1 and 2, he went without a TD or a fantasy point total above 14.8 the rest of the season. He's still in his prime at age 26, but Etienne's efficiency has been weak two seasons in a row and he's no longer a lock for lead-back duties, with Tank Bigsby ticketed for a big role and fourth-round rookie Bhayshul Tuten now in the mix. Perhaps new coach Liam Coen can get things turned around, but Etienne is best viewed as a bench flier."


"Etienne had a very strong regular season, though Sunday served as a disappointing close. He logged a long rush of 11 yards, but eight of his 14 attempts on the ground picked up two or fewer yards. Etienne was also limited to only one target for just the third time this season and ultimately ended up with limited volume after being pulled early in the fourth quarter. If there was a positive point to note, he was able to surpass 1,100 rushing yards for the first time since 2022, his second season as a pro. Etienne should be in line for a bounce-back effort in the wild-card round, though it is still undetermined who the Jaguars will face."
