"Moss returns for his second season in Cincinnati. The veteran back opened last season as the Bengals' lead back, playing 63% of the snaps and handling 12.1 touches per game. That helped him to three 14-plus point fantasy outings during Weeks 1-4, but he then started losing work to Chase Brown before going down with a season-ending neck injury in Week 8. Brown dominated the work and played at a high level from that point forward, which suggests Moss is a long shot for anything more than a situational role in 2025. The 27-year-old is a capable rusher and receiver, so there's a hint of insurance appeal here, but only in the very late rounds."

"Moss signed a two-year, $8 million contract with the Bengals last offseason and reworked the deal in April to add guaranteed money for the 2025 campaign, which the contract did not previously include. That positions him to kick off Week 1 as one of the top backups to Chase Brown alongside free-agency signing Samaje Perine, a role that Moss looks increasingly secure in with Cincinnati's only backfield addition in the 2025 NFL Draft having been Tahj Brooks in the sixth round. Moss looked uninspiring across his eight appearances last season, logging 74 carries for 242 yard (3.3 YPC) and two scores before landing on IR with a neck injury. The 27-year-old nonetheless seems the favorite to earn the top reserve role behind Brown, but he will have to show some signs of increased efficiency to insulate his role against pressure from Perine and/or Brooks."

"Sanders signed with Dallas after failing to pan out during his two seasons in Carolina. Signed to a multiyear contract prior to 2023, Sanders was handed the Panthers' lead-back gig, but lost it to Chuba Hubbard within a matter of weeks. He went on to average 8.3 touches per game and score a total of two touchdowns in 26 outings prior to putting up a 116-yard, 2-TD showing with Hubbard sidelined last season. Perhaps that proves he still has some gas left in the tank, but now 28 years old and not much of a contributor as a pass catcher, it's unlikely Sanders will find his way to the fantasy radar. He'll battle Javonte Williams and rookie Jaydon Blue for work in Dallas, and is only worth a late flier in deep leagues."

"The Panthers released Sanders on Tuesday after he had a pair of disappointing seasons with the team. He'll now join the Cowboys looking to revitalize his career, and he should have the chance to capture a decent workload as the roster is currently constructed. Javonte Williams is the only other back on the depth chart capable of carrying a traditional workload, though Sanders' fantasy potential won't become clear until after the NFL Draft in late April."
